The project.
Zoyeh Studio is a Jordanian ready-to-wear women's fashion label directed by Sylvia Salaita. Its pieces are made locally in Jordan from Jordanian textiles. Muhammad Junayed built its online store as a headless e-commerce site. A custom Next.js storefront sits on top of a WordPress and WooCommerce back office. The brand team keeps managing products in the familiar WooCommerce admin. Customers get a fast, design-led storefront. The frontend uses Next.js 16 with React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS 4. A custom WordPress plugin called Headless Cart Bridge, now at version 1.8.1, connects the two systems.
What had to be solved.
The label wanted a distinctive, fast, premium storefront that WooCommerce themes could not deliver. It could not give up WooCommerce for back office work, payments and order management. It sells to customers in Jordan and abroad, so it needed two currencies and made-to-order and pre-order timing. The task was to join a custom frontend and WooCommerce into one smooth shopping experience, with no stale prices or stock.
How it was built.
The cart lives in the Next.js app. At checkout the storefront posts the cart to a secure API route. The plugin creates a short-lived session and hydrates a real WooCommerce cart, so shoppers pay through WooCommerce native checkout. Prices show in Jordanian dinar or US dollars, picked by visitor country and converted with live rates. Product pages show live stock for the selected size and disable Add to Bag when a size is out of stock. A custom Collections post type lets the team build homepage collections without a developer. Pages refresh every 60 seconds through Incremental Static Regeneration, and the plugin purges pages at once when a product, variation, stock level, collection or setting changes. Meta Pixel and server-side Meta Conversions API purchase events track marketing, with event IDs to avoid double counting. The store went live on 18 April 2026. The project started in November 2025. Development continued through October 2026 with features and fixes. A card-payment outage caused by the payment provider was diagnosed and resolved without code changes. A critical Next.js security advisory was fixed by upgrading to 16.4.3 and updating other vulnerable dependencies.
“Junayed built a site that finally looks like Zoyeh instead of a template with our logo on it. Everything shipped on time and exactly as discussed.”
